18 Apr 2007 “Before It’s Too Late” Environmental Exhibition Tours Si Ling Primary School
From April 18 to 27, students from Si Ling Primary School were able to enjoy the exhibition titled “Before It’s Too Late” during their Science lessons.
This is part of SSA’s on-going effort to create awareness and concern on environmental issues.
This environmental exhibition is an initiative by the SSA Youth Division. Produced in 1997, it featured various panels on global environmental issues, sources and effects of pollutions. With its colourful photographs and illustrations, it provides the students with an out-of-the-classroom learning experience in the area of environmental issues.
[“Before It’s Too Late”, an environmental protection exhibition is endorsed by the Singapore Environmental Council and supported by the People’s Association, National Youth Council and AIESEC Singapore. The exhibition attracted some 15,000 viewers when it first opened in 1997 at the then World Trade Centre Expo Gateway. In November 2005, this exhibition was also viewed by students from Woodlands Primary School.]
